I have NO choice but to make a big deal out of this.. NO matter who, what, where, or why, it is a known fact that out of all races of women, black is of the least desirable. At least in America. Despite the fact that black women have raised the bar of what it is to be a “WOMAN” in general over many years of history, her strength almost serves her as a disadvantage more so than an asset when it comes to attraction. With the stigmas of what society labels as “pretty” black women’s strong physical features, such as muscle tone, color tone, as well as thick and often times shorter hair has not been of the likes of mass media. Although there are many cases where there have been exceptions. Grace Jones probably being the most extreme notable example. Never the less the black woman has never truly been appreciated like she should be. This song is simply “Man” showing his appreciation for how much we truly do appreciate black women.
